Today, teachers and students are celebrating...Thanksgiving Break begins tomorrow! In this season of thanksgiving, I have much to be thankful for: health, friends, family, and a great place to work. I am greatly enjoying my time in the library, and I am very thankful to work among such wonderful teachers and students! I challenge you to think of what you are thankful for. Leave a comment below to share! Calling all reading enthusiasts! Your student has the opportunity to vote for their favorite picture book (K-3 students) or chapter book (4-6 students)! All across the state, students are reading books that are nominated for the Arkansas Diamond Primary and Charlie May Simon book awards. A selection committee has created a list of nominees. Your student must read at least three titles from the list in order to vote in March. Please encourage your child to read and participate in choosing the best book published in 2014!
