Literacy is a major focus this year at Greenland Elementary. Mr. Barton challenged families to make sure their student(s) read at least 15 minutes every night, whether reading aloud together or encouraging your student(s) to read independently. Reading makes a profound difference in your student's education through improving literacy skills, increasing vocabulary, increasing standardized testing scores, etc. Review the infographics below for additional reasons why your student should read every day!
