This week has been a great week in the library! The students are working on writing their own fractured fairy tales. The students have planned out their stories and will be ready to start writing out a first draft this week. Seeing students get creative and collaborate with one another is exciting! I love having a noisy library when the noise means students are having conversations about what we are learning! Top 5 Most Checked Out Books: 1. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth 2. Green Eggs and Ham 3. I Survived! The Japanese Tsuname, 2011 4. I Survived! The Attacks of September 11, 2001 5. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel "The more you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” - Dr. Seuss, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!"
