I am amazed at the creativity of our students at Greenland Elementary! Students have greatly enjoyed writing these fractured fairy tales, and one class has decided to begin an authors club so they may keep writing stories! I love seeing students excited about learning! Students should be wrapping up their stories this week and preparing for an animal research project to begin next week. The focus of the research project will be locating relevant sources of information and citing sources of information. Reminder: If your child says they have lost a book or brings home an overdue notice, then please help them locate the book. Locating the book will allow you to avoid paying to replace the book in the collection. Top 5 Most Checked Out Books: 1. Green Eggs and Ham 2. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth 4. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel 5. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules "The more you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” - Dr. Seuss, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!"
